If we’ve installed a new circuit or a fuse box, you’d need an Electrical Installation Certificate and a Part P certificate.
If we’ve added or changed an existing circuit in a room*, we’ll offer you a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate (MEIWC) along with a Part P certificate.

The Electrical Installation Certificate is a safety certificate that we will issue that confirms our compliance with BS 7671 standards. It’s legally required for any new installation.
